meet easton

I recently posted on my Facebook page for Mariah Baddas Photography (WHAT? you're not a fan yet? Please go- all the cool kids are doing it!) That if I were given a choice of shooting ONE type of photo for the rest of my life, do you know what I'd choose?

tiny ones. warm and sleepy, luscious little babies.

I heart everything about newborn photos. I love the closeness between a child and his or her mother. I love that new dad's are so careful and shy- ahhhh! Love love love it.

So, imagine my delight when good friends, Maren and Bryan asked me to take newborn pictures of their little guy Easton. GLEE. I tell you... pure glee.

Easton was 9 days old for his first photoshoot! Oh he was so good! No crying, lots of snuggling and what do you know? He loved the white noise machine!!

Thank you to Maren, Bryan and baby Easton, you were all terrific! I hope I can capture his milestones as he grows and give you pictures to remind you just how sweet it all is...
